On May 31, believers from various churches gathered in Monterey for a blessed day of worship, fellowship, and spiritual encouragement. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for Christians from different congregations to come together in unity and strengthen their bonds in Christ.
Special thanks were expressed to Peter and Nina Panasenko for their dedication and hard work in organizing the gathering. Their efforts made it possible for believers from different communities to enjoy meaningful fellowship and worship together.
The service was centered on worship and the preaching of God's Word. Pastor James Westbrook delivered a message on the incomparable compassion of Jesus Christ toward His people, reminding those in attendance of His unfailing love, mercy, and care.
Members of the choir Heaven's Harmony and the girls' ensemble Daughters of the King from First Slavic Evangelical Baptist Church of Sacramento were grateful for the opportunity to participate in the service and worship alongside fellow believers. Over the years, these ministries have developed lasting friendships and have been a source of encouragement and support as they seek to serve the Lord together.
Gatherings such as this serve as a beautiful reminder that although believers may come from different churches and communities, they are united in Christ. We thank the Lord for opportunities to encourage one another, grow in faith, and strengthen the fellowship of His people.
