The tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk shook the entire nation. Many adults did not know about him before, but the youth knew and loved him. For many young Christians, he was an example of how he shared his faith and defended Biblical values. He was a beacon of light for many, and pointed others to life and salvation.
Now this beacon is gone. This is truly a turning point in our lives, especially for the youth. The society needs to decide where we will go from here. As soon as the fog of pain and sorrow dissipates, young people will seek new sources of information and guidance. It is vitally important to have someone with similar values to Charlie’s would be able to fill this vacuum. We will have to carry this torch and lead the young men and women for the sake of the future. Each one of us needs to become Charlie Kirk.
